Congratulations to our colleague, Amer Abdelkader, Operator – Steel Making Plants, for being named a finalist in the worldsteel steelChallenge-19 World Championship, which will be held in April 2025, following his victory in the Regional Championship for the Asia West region

The competition had 2,624 participants from over 120 companies and 150 academic institutions across 34 countries. Competing in the Regional Championship, participants had to produce the best steel at the lowest cost while meeting carbon footprint requirements within a 24-hour time frame.
