Emirates Steel, the only integrated steel plant in the UAE, owned by Senaat organized two events to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, which falls on 28 August each year with the participation of guests of honor from the Red Crescent and Emirati female pioneers such as Mrs. )(moo: and Mrs xxo: and ES female Emirati leaders. The honored guests were received by ES CEO His Excellency Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi who welcomed them and expressed his feelings of pride for participating in this important event.
H.E Engineer Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Steel, praised the initiative of H.H Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak for the advancement and empowerment of women. This day marks the achievements of Emirati women under the wise UAE’s leadership, which gives them motivation, support and the ability to compete with the rest of the world in various fields and industries.
His Excellency added that creating a special day to honor Emirati women strategically empowers them in all fields and creates a platform through which they have a bright future. Al Remeithi said the progression of women in the UAE is a step forward. It combines the development of women and their cultural contribution on the one hand, and reflects their true Arabic Islamic identity and pride on the other.
He pointed out that Emirates Steel has paid great attention to the issue of developing and qualifying women at both the leadership and career levels to promote both genders by encouraging them to work together and develop their creativity and innovation. The event also included several activities that involved participation from the audience.
