The conference was addressed by high level speakers from the sector including Emirates Steel’s officials, who presented the current market situation and ways to overcome challenges, and participated in the main panel discussion debating topics related to recovery and improving production efficiencies, trade, customs and World Trade Organization (WTO) regulations.
Additionally, the conference tackled issues like ways to protect the future of steel making in the region and the role of quality manufacturing in the future steel product mixes.
Furthermore, the first day witnessed other participations by Emirates Steel, with a presentation about the huge event comprised different pre conference workshops focusing on technologies within the Iron and Steel industry, in addition to the main conference sessions and discussion panels.
The 20th Middle East Iron & Steel Conference attracted international representatives of the entire steel supply chain and offered a perfect opportunity to gain crucial market updates and detailed information on the MENA iron and steel industries.
