The UAE leadership has placed the welfare, wellbeing, stability and happiness of its citizens at the heart of its policies plans and strategies. H.E. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Emirates Steel CEO stated that these consistent and tireless efforts paid off with international organizations specialized in human development giving the UAE top marks in indices of happiness and satisfaction.
In line with this, Her Excellency Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi Minister of State for Happiness, said” happiness is journey not a destination”. Hence, to start its journey formally, Emirates Steel, the only integrated steel plant in the UAE, owned by Senaat, has chosen the International Day of Happiness for the start of this journey.
The company has created its Happiness on Wheels campaign targeting its team of around 2500 employees in celebration of this day. Moreover, Emirates Steel’s celebrations came in support with the UAE nationwide Happiness campaign from 19th to 25th March.
Emirates Steel’s initiative is part of its continuous efforts to turn the happiness concept into a reality through everyday practices, spreading joy as well as fostering a positive atmosphere among its team in line with promoting stability and welfare of Emirati society as one of the government’s top priorities.
Moreover, Emirates Steel’s Happiness activities fall under the banner of 2017 “Year of Giving” declared by the UAE’s President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and coinciding with its vision to promote the culture of giving and goodness while instilling the vision of happiness and positivity within the community.
