Emirates Steel, the only integrated steel plant in the UAE, owned by SENAAT, announced the company’s participation as Gold Sponsor at Project Qatar 2015, the upcoming international Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition.
Emirates Steel is participating at this forum for the 6th consecutive year, and will showcase its steel product r IA,. including rebar, wire rod and heavy sections.
Mr. Mohammed Al Afari, Emirates Steel VP of Marketing said “this is an excellent venue to showcase our expertise in steel, and enhance our access to the lucrative Qatari and GCC market, we were satisfied with the response we received during last year’s edition” he added “to us the Exhibition is an ideal destination to showcase our range of products, promote Emirates Steel products to all GCC countries in line with the growing demand for high quality steel products in the regional market, and to have direct contact with end customers”.
Established in 1998, Emirates Steel grew in a relatively short period of time from a simple re-roller of imported steel billets to a complex integrated manufacturing plant, using modern solutions to tackle traditional industrial problems to generate value for its various stakeholders. in 2012, the Company began producing at a capacity of 3.5 million MTPA, following two expansions and the investment of AED 11 billion (US$ 3 billion).
