Emirates Steel, the only integrated steel plant in the UAE, a subsidiary of Senaat, announced its participation at the upcoming Arab Steel Summit 2016 and the accompanying International Iron and Steel Exhibition 2016, the annual forum organized by the Arab Iron and Steel Union that will take place in Dubai, UAE starting 18 to 19th October.
The awaited summit is expected to discuss topics and major issues related to Arab steel industry, trends of investment within the sector and prospects. It is also likely to discuss the impact of oil price instability on the current projects and investments and status of the Arab steel imports and exports.
Participants will debate new technologies and their role in steel production, raw materials outlook, availability and their impact on the future growth of the steel industry and growth trends in the steel industry on global levels.
Emirates Steel has been keen to be part of this specialized forum to reinforce its leadership position in the iron and steel industry in the region, special under the current conditions dominating the steel sector on regional and international levels.
The Arab Steel Summit and International Iron and Steel Exhibition serves as an ideal forum to exchange insights and ideas, and coordinate among the Union’s members on all levels.
