His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi presents Engineer Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO – EMSTEEL with the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders Award in recognition of EMSTEEL Group’s leadership in reshaping the core of construction and manufacturing with sustainable principles, contributing not only to the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy, but to decarbonising the industrial sector at scale.
This is the second year in a row Al Remeithi has won this award. Under his guidance, the Group has transformed into a global ambassador for the UAE’s industrial sector and a catalyst for sustainable industrial progress, delivering market-leading products to build a better world.
At the second annual Sustainability Leaders Summit, EMSTEEL Group received another reward in recognition of its green hydrogen project, developed in partnership with Masdar, as the first-of-its-kind in the MENA region to demonstrate potential of green hydrogen in positioning the UAE as a major green steel production hub by 2031 through accelerating the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate steel sector.
