We were delighted to be a part of the “Implementing CCUS and Low-Carbon Hydrogen Solutions for Decarbonization” panel from March 14-16, where Fadhl Zayed from the decarbonization team, shared our commitment towards reducing carbon emissions and our dedication to sustainable solutions. It was an honor to share the panel with distinguished experts, Ito Tadashi from Chiyoda Corporation and Cristopher Sagar from Atkins, and we would like to express our gratitude to Prakruthi Gowada from Clifford Chance for her insightful moderation of the discussion.

As part of its leading role in the steel and construction materials industry, Emirates Steel Arkan hosted an event to showcase its commitment to sustainability, safety, and innovation. The event was attended by over 500 employees and contractors, in addition to more than 20 companies and partners who participated, showcasing their sustainability initiatives, innovative solutions, and safety equipment. The event included a series of engaging lectures delivered by a diverse range of ESA staff members and guest speakers on various topics such as digitization, decarbonization, women’s empowerment, energy management, and supply chains.

The signing took place during the 9th meeting of the National Dialogue for Climate Ambition, which was held under the theme of “Decarbonising the Buildings Sector” to support the UAE’s Net Zero Strategic Initiative.
