Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of #EmiratesSteelArkan, joined the panel discussion held by ENGIE titled “Journey to COP 28 – Corporate role in supporting governments to achieve net zero carbon targets”. With a backdrop of COP28 taking place in the region, the event, held under the theme “Defining the Pathway to a Carbon Neutral Economy”, aims to address the challenges in navigating energy transition with the governments and private sector working together. Joined by H.E. Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, UAE Minister of Climate Change & Environment and other experts in the field, our Group CEO discussed how public and private sectors can work together to accelerate #energy efficiency and #decarbonization. They also debated challenges faced by organizations in reducing carbon emissions and achieving government net-zero targets. Emirates Steel Arkan is committed to continuing its sustainability efforts through the development of #greensteel products and the exploration of various decarbonization methods.

As part of its regularly organized “Meylskom” events, #EmiratesSteelArkan held the #Graduation Ceremony of 133 Emirati delegates from the “Masaar” and “Future Leaders” programs batch for 2022 for those who completed the programs successfully. Our goal at the Group is to identify and cultivate the best talent within the organization to drive growth and prosperity for the group and for the country as a whole, taking great pride in fostering the #leaders of tomorrow.
